And he who is seated on the high seat said, See, I make all things new. And he said, Put it in the book; for these words are certain and true. 6 And he said to me, It is done. I am the First and the Last, the start and the end. I will freely give of the fountain of the water of life to him who is in need. Rev 21:5-6
God created this world. He created it as a garden. He created this world as a man – Adam. And he created this world with a gate to the supernatural – Paradise, godly spark, spirit. He created Adam from dust and blew his spirit into him. Thus life was.
But this earth died. Man died, when he wanted to be like God. To be like God means to be separate from God. I can’t be like something of which I’m part of. He in me and I in him.
God helped us as good as he could to deal with this world. He taught us his principles, gave us his law. But all this brought us to is revelation: the revelation that we can’t do it on our own.
That is why he made everything new. At the cross.
So if any man is in Christ, he is in a new world: the old things have come to an end; they have truly become new. 2Co 5:17 BBE
Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new. 2Co 5:17 ASV
One could say: he is a new creation (HCSB), a new world. To be in Adam is to be in the old world. In Christ all is new.
Think it through: this means that the last days started at the cross, at Passah, at pentecost. Peter said in Acts 2: This is that which Joel predicted, that I will pour out of my Spirit in the last days.
In the natural, the end of the world has been going on for 2000 years. The king of that world was conquered, and since then we rid the world of his influence – granted, with little effect. The law of the old world has been fulfilled by Jesus, the symbols, that only pointed to the true thing of the then future new world, were destroyed and replaced. For example the temple, symbol for Jesus and his church, in 70 AD. Just like Jesus predicted in Matthew 24.
Everything set in heaven has to be established on the earth. Put another way: we do not believe yet that all is new. It is true, but we cherish our memories. More and more we recognize what Jesus has done at the cross: Look, I make all things new. It is done.
At the cross Jesus said: it is finished. In Revelation: it is done. Where’s the difference? There ain’t none.
Jesus has conquered the last enemy, death. He rose on the third day. Death could not hold him back. How long was he to sit at the right side of God? Until God had placed all enemies under his feet. Jesus said: Now is given to me all authority in earth and in heaven. Paul said:
For, as it says, He has put all things under his feet. 1Co 15:27
Past tense. It happened.
Now is the time for us to change our thinking. To accept the finished work. To grow into the maturity and stature of the Christ. Time to manifest the sons of God that believe what already is and are ready to establish it on earth.
Everything made out of wood, hay, and stubble burns. Everything that belongs to Adam, that comes from my own will, burns. Maybe fast, maybe slow. Maybe by the baptism of fire, maybe by the fire of judgement. The old world burns. And see, a new heaven and a new earth.
Do you live in this new world already? It’s only a decision away: accept that Jesus is God’s son, he died and rose for you, to restore your relationship with the father. He wants to be your savior and lord.
Then the next thing is to discover this new world piece by piece. To lay down our filters, our old way of thinking. To see with open eyes and heart what this new world has to offer: a new law, written on our hearts. Healing. Life. And so much more.
God is restoring everything. He takes his time to lead us into the truth. All we need is an open heart.
The date for the end of the world? I would say Passah 33 AD.
The date of the end of my world? Carneval 1984.
