I refuel thinking

Thank you

Reading Time: < 1 minutes

Because of you I know what I have to do…

My son wrote a song. First it is to me – which humbles me dearly.

But if you read the story with my father, you know that I needed God to be able to be a father myself in the first place.

Thus it is a tribute and thank you note to our God in heaven.

Here the lyrics:

With this song i wanted to tell you,
how much it means to me to be your son.
Because of you i know what i have to do…

Thank you for showing me what a father is!
Thank you for being there when i turned my back!
Thank you for holding on to what you believe!
Thank you, thank you

Gave all you had, to raise me well.
You showed you’r love to me in all that you did.
‘ve been there for me no matter what happened.
You reached to me when i ran away.

Thank you for showing me what a father is!
Thank you for being there when i turned my back!
Thank you for holding on to what you believe!
Thank you, thank you

You made me Happy, when i was angry.
You took me in you arms when i was sad.
You where forgiving when i stabbed your back.
You were faithful when the world looked bad.

Thank you for showing me what a father is!
Thank you for being there when i turned my back!
Thank you for holding on to what you believe!
Thank you, thank you

Now i see that you did, what we needed in this time,
when everything crumbled down and i just wanted to hide.

Thank you for showing me what a father is!
Thank you for being there when i turned my back!
Thank you for holding on to what you believe!
Thank you, thank you!
